Job Description

Assist with proposal / change order preparation, contract negotiations, and administration of contracting activities.
Interact with customer / government representatives and Project Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and procurement regulations.
Manage communication with customer / government representatives. Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
Manage efforts to achieve customer satisfaction through positive customer support.
Analyze and review contract requirements to determine contractual obligations and provide continual review and administration to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that any problems are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Monitor contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements and other contractual requirements.
Make necessary inquiries regarding contract terms and conditions, obligations and modifications.
Interact with customer / government representatives in the preparation of contract changes.
Responsible for identifying and completing contractual report requirements
Federal and DoD contract administration knowledge
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR - federal acquisition regulations
Ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • Must have experience with government contract management preferably the navy or military/defense
  • Legal degree or experience preferred, must understand government contracts
  • Bachelors degree required
