Service Advisor
At Tim Short Auto Group, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and quality automotive solutions. We are looking for a motivated Service Customer Specialist to join our team and help provide our customers with a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally and take photos of their vehicle in the service drive.
  • Listen to customer vehicle concerns and accurately document service requests.
  • Advise customers on recommended services and repairs.
  • Coordinate with Parts Department to keep track of Vehicles waiting on parts
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service completion.
  • Follow up with customers regarding service updates and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Use dealership management software to take photos of customers vehicles and update customers regularly on their vehicles progress.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in customer service in an automotive environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Comfortable working with dealership service software and hand tools.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service industry.
