As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our detox center, your daily functions will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and creating personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Utilizing various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring your approach to meet individual client needs.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and internal policies.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare staff to provide cohesive care for patients.
• Participating in regular case reviews and consultations among peers to optimize treatment strategies and enhance the overall therapeutic experience.
• Offering educational resources to patients and family members regarding mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and available community support.
• Staying informed on the latest research and trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into treatment practices to better serve patients.
• Maintaining a full caseload of clients while ensuring timely progress towards established treatment objectives.

You will work with a diverse array of individuals facing various mental health issues related to substance use, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our clients often seek help during critical moments in their lives, requiring not just clinical expertise, but also compassion and sensitivity. Your role is essential in healing and guiding clients through recovery, fostering resilience, and returning to their daily lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience focusing on psychotherapy.
