This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Sumarry

HII-Mission Technologies seeks a Program Manager to support our customers, in the Department of Defense Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC). The Program Manager will manage a large multi- year and multi-tenant contract with over 20 different projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and a deep understand of defense industry contract management practices. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of the contract, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering projects on time and within budget.


Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) TO focuses on ILS to support as envisioned by the JADC2 Strategy of moving to joint/combined capability development. The LOGIX TO will also support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.

What You Will Do
  • Program Management: Manage the overall program, providing strategic direction, planning, and execution to ensure the successful delivery of all projects under the IDIQ contract
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the duration of the contract.
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources across multiple projects to optimize productivity and deliver results within defined constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with the program and individual projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize their impact.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines, providing regular reports to stakeholders and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with contract requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines to deliver high-quality deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a diverse team of project managers, engineers, analysts, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, track project milestones, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, including reporting requirements, deliverables, and any applicable regulations or legal obligations.

What We Are Looking For
  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
  • 10 Years experience leading communications programs within classified environment.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, demonstrated with a PMP certificate
  • Strong knowledge of defense industry practices, regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering projects within defined constraints.
  • Sound financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of managing risks and making timely, informed judgments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, specifically operating within a classified environment
  • Clearance: Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Proven track record with building, certifying (ATOs) and operating classified networks with multiple USG agencies.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
  • 4+ years of experience managing Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) type contracts supporting the Department of Defense.
  • 4+ years of experience with contractor requirements with Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements throughout Europe and the DOCPER office and regulations for contractors working in Germany or Italy.
  • 4+ years of experience in managing contracts awarded and administrated by GSA/FEDSIM.
  • 4+ years of experience with using Smartsheet in managing projects and utilization of Office365 products to flatten communications with a geographically dispersed organization.
