JOB SUMMARY

This location specific Program Manager will support sales and operations by managing execution steps within the lifecycle of a program timeline through scheduling, overall coordination, implementation, execution, and completion ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Lead the planning and implementation of program.
  • Ensures all projects stay on track and meet established deadlines through timelines.
  • Evaluates problem situations to identify causes, gathers, and processes relevant information, generates possible solutions, and/or resolves the problem.
  • Sets priorities, develops a work schedule, monitors project progress, and tracks and oversees details/data / information/activities.
  • Manage inventory process with internal and outside facilities. Review inbound/outbound information for accuracy and discrepancies while Communicating results to required internal/external contacts.
  • Responsible for researching, tracking, and resolving retailer invoice deductions related to receiving discrepancies. Investigates and disputes customer deductions by submitting claims through retailer online portals (e.g., Retail Link).
  • Assesses situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and collaborates to make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
  • Maintains strong communication lines with sales team, operations team, and or clients regarding all programs assigned.
  • Reduce financial risk associated with projects by being proactive and communicating concerns to associated parties and management.
  • Identify and document opportunities for improvement throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Review and ensure that all assigned projects are scheduled and managed according to customers’ expectations.
  • Track specific aspects of a program from concept to shipment,
  • Ensure all projects meet company quality standards.
  • Grows healthy/professional relationships with coworkers, retailers, & suppliers
  • Focuses on driving process improvement initiatives that will enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Occasional travel to support the business of approximately 10% - 15%.
  • Attendance is an essential duty.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Required
  • High school diploma or GED or combined equivalent education and experience
  • 3 years of program/project management experience
  • Previous experience in managing multiple projects
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Ability to travel on occasion.


Preferred

  • Experience in the corrugated, printing, packaging, or manufacturing industry.
