Job description

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, in partnership with St. Catherine Hospital, is seeking a Medical Director to lead their 10-bed acute rehabilitation unit in Garden City, Kansas. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized healthcare organization focused on community care. The Medical Director will collaborate with the Program Director and clinical team to provide medical direction, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state and federal laws, and CMS and Joint Commission regulations.

  • Serves patients in need of physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies

Responsibilities

  • Provide services of a minimum of 20 hours per week in the acute rehabilitation unit
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction
  • Ensure conformance with the facility's policies and procedures
  • Ensure conformance with state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission
