Job Description:
  • The Storage Services Analyst is a member of the EPEO Storage Service team and will have a variety of responsibilities supporting the Storage as a Service (StaaS) and Data Protection as a Service (DpaaS)
  • This role will be responsible for and assisting with: Jira Planning and tracking of Epics.
  • User Stories and Tasks Asset Management activities, leasing and service contracts Assist with current and future planning activities supporting the expansion and adaptation of storage as a service globally.
  • Assist with installing new hardware, removing end of life equipment, planning and installing fiber connections to new devices when needed, completing connections originating from server team requests, and ongoing troubleshooting of the server-connected environment. Financial and capacity planning and reporting

Required Skills:
  • Understanding and desire to learn the financial processes and methodologies
  • Experience with Jira business tool
  • Solid understanding of MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present back to management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of business and IT management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating integrity in all actions.

Nice to have skills:
  • Knowledge of Procurement, Purchasing, Project Management
  • Familiarity with Data Center layouts and procedures for building access
  • Knowledge of Storage fiber infrastructure which includes fiber optic connections, planning, and working with Cisco MDS switches.
  • Familiarization with vendor connection needs and proficiency for connecting power.
  • Coordination of installation of new storage devices and decommission and uninstall of end-of-lease storage arrays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.
