Job description

The Associate Material Program Manager (MPM) supports material planning and execution activities across Frontgrade Exeter programs to help ensure alignment with customer commitments, production schedules, and operational objectives. This role partners closely with Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance to support program execution, material readiness, and overall business performance.

The Associate MPM will assist with managing material availability, tracking program risks, supporting production execution, and coordinating cross-functional activities to help achieve delivery, inventory, and financial objectives. This position offers broad exposure to program operations and is designed for individuals seeking to grow within program management, supply chain, or operations leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Experience:

    • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR No experience required in lieu of Masters Degree.
    • 1-3 years of professional experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, program support, production planning, finance, or related business functions.
    • - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
    • - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business applications.
    • - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    - Support material planning and execution activities for assigned programs.

    - Assist with managing material availability to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

    - Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Finance teams to support program execution and material readiness.

    - Track material shortages, supplier performance, and inventory status to help identify and mitigate program risks.

    - Support cross-functional meetings and provide updates related to material status, delivery performance, and operational priorities.

    - Assist with development and maintenance of program material metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), past due backlog, inventory health, and material forecast alignment.

    - Coordinate with internal teams to support production execution, engineering changes, and new product introductions.

    - Analyze operational and material data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

    - Support M2M system activities including material tracking, reporting accuracy, and demand alignment.

    - Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and execution excellence.-
