DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Production Technician is a mid-level position involved in performing designated internal manufacturing and/or repair processes, maintaining a high level of quality and delivering projects on time.


Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure components and projects meet customer requirements and program costs
  • Work cooperatively with the team to complete projects with proper shop practices
  • Lead internal technical projects
  • Identify, inspect and solve manufacturing and/or repair issues
  • Use CAD models and technical data to assemble and/or repair parts
  • Ensure orderliness of ship tools and equipment
  • Record traveler documentation for work performed
  • Assist in the development of ASI’s capabilities for manufacturing and/or repair
  • Build an environment focused on quality, health and safety
  • Identify training needs and establish a training program
  • Assist in training and developing employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Experience in the A&D industry
  • A&P certification preferred
