Role Responsibilities:ย 

  • Manage and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in technical areas (e.g., Process, Equipment, and Facility Engineering)
  • Provide technical and project direction to project teams and support managers and engineers
  • Lead and coordinate project execution to meet deliverables
  • Communicate technical status updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, and test documents
  • Execute commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and evaluate and manage design changes
  • Prepare calculations, reports, and project documentation
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and client meetings
  • Mentor junior staff and support multiple projects concurrently
  • Ensure compliance with client and company standards
  • Travel required based on project location (mostly within North America and limited international travel required
Qualifications:ย 
  • Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, industrial, electrical)
  • P.Eng. or working towards obtaining license in Ontario (P.Eng. required for Project Engineer role)
  • Minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ pharmaceutical engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience in design, User Requirement Specification (URS), and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)ย 
  • Skilled in writing Engineering lifecycle documentation
  • Confident and experienced in leading technical meetings and presentations
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Proficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Certain projects within this role require successful completion of a vision assessment (20/20 near vision, corrected or uncorrected) and a colour-perception test.
