FORVIA is looking for a year-round Engineering Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Your mission, roles and responsibilities Position Summary: This is a unique opportunity as the Engineering Intern will participate in rotational development up to point of graduation, having each 6-month term with a different area of Faurecia R&D. The Engineering Intern works on assigned projects, assist manager in areas of design, engineering, drawings, equipment, and/or documentation Responsibilities: Learns how to produce/develop designs Assists with alternative design solutions Maintains strong familiarity with specific customer requirements Completes all assignments with the prescribed schedules Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction Capitalizes on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across organization and within the site Commitment to the highest ethical standards and adherence to: Faurecia Group Code of Ethics Faurecia Group Code of Management Faurecia Group Environmental Policy Faurecia Group Quality Policy All other duties as assigned by the company Your profile and competencies to succeed Position Specifications: Knowledge / Skills: Familiarity with primary manufacturing methods Per Training Plan matrix Strong communication and analytical skills Active listening skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple ongoing tasks Good interpersonal and presentation skills Data entry proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Education / Experience: Full Time Student enrolled in an accredited 4 year College or University Graduation date of December 2027 or later Can work atleast 24 hours during School Minimum 2.8 GPA Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field, or similar What we can do for you At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies
