HDR is seeking a motivated Geographic Information System (GIS) Intern to join our Colorado Springs GIS team. This position is ideal for a student who has completed coursework toward a GIS-focused degree and is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The GIS Intern will collaborate closely with GIS staff to support a range of projects, including data development, editing, maintenance, cartographic production, and field data collection using Esri technologies.
In the role of a GIS Technician Intern, we'll count on you to:
  • Assist in the creation, editing, and maintenance of GIS datasets
  • Produce high-quality cartographic products to support project deliverables
  • Support field data collection efforts using Esri applications
  • Collaborate with GIS staff and project teams to meet project goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Esri ArcGIS software
