About the Project:


The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will bring the Eglinton Crosstown LRT another 9.2 kilometers farther west, creating a continuous rapid transit line from the east end of Toronto into Mississauga. The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.


Overview:

TRP has a current vacancy for a Requirements Coordinator who supports the day-to-day coordination, administration, tracking, and reporting activities associated with project requirements management across the ECWE program.

The role supports requirements governance workflows, traceability coordination, review management, DOORS NG administration support, and lifecycle coordination activities between technical disciplines and project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support requirements coordination activities across systems engineering, integration, assurance, testing, and delivery teams.
  • Maintain requirements trackers, review logs, dashboards, action registers, and coordination records.
  • Support DOORS NG requirements management activities, extraction workflows, and reporting preparation.
  • Track requirements review status, comments, action closure, and traceability updates.
  • Support coordination of requirements baseline reviews and change management activities.
  • Assist with preparation of executive summaries, requirements reports, and governance presentations.
  • Support technically verifiable requirements tracking and verification coordination activities.
  • Coordinate review meetings, workshops, and stakeholder follow-up activities.
  • Support alignment between requirements, verification, integration, testing, and operational readiness activities.
  • Assist with management of requirements interfaces between technical disciplines and program stakeholders.
  • Support documentation control, review cycles, and coordination workflows across evolving project baselines.
  • Coordinate with Requirements Lead, Systems Engineering, V&V, Integration, and System Assurance teams to support aligned program delivery.



Qualifications:


  • Degree or diploma in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in requirements management, systems engineering, project controls, technical coordination, document control, or related engineering support functions.


  • Requirements Management Knowledge: Understanding of requirements management principles, requirements lifecycle concepts, traceability, allocation, change control, and verification workflows.
  • Requirements Management Tools: Working knowledge of IBM DOORS Next Generation (DOORS NG) or similar requirements management platforms, including requirements tracking, reporting, linking, and data management activities.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Experience maintaining trackers, dashboards, registers, metrics, status reports, and programme reporting tools with strong attention to data quality and accuracy.
  • Requirements Traceability: Ability to support requirements traceability activities, maintain requirement relationships, monitor status updates, and assist with requirements baseline management.
  • Review & Comment Management: Experience supporting review cycles, comment resolution tracking, action registers, meeting outputs, and stakeholder follow-up activities.
  • Document & Configuration Control: Familiarity with document management, revision control, configuration management principles, and controlled project documentation processes.
  • Verification Coordination Support: Understanding of requirements verification processes and ability to support verification readiness, evidence tracking, and requirements closure activities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, overdue actions, traceability gaps, and reporting anomalies.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools used to support project governance and requirements management activities.
  • Rail & Transit Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with rail, transit, transportation, or infrastructure projects is considered an asset.
