This role requires balancing technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and customer collaboration to ensure efficient, high-quality design.

What you will do

  • Manage electrical and mechanical designers, oversee workload, and ensure compliance with building codes
  • Design & Compliance Direct the creation of electrical and mechanical systems for concrete structures, including major equipment like generators and backup power systems
  • Work with sales, production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams to enhance cost efficiency and on-time delivery
  • Regulatory & Inspection Coordination Ensure state approvals, manage third-party inspections, and maintain compliance with codes
  • Establish training programs, conduct performance evaluations, and drive continuous improvement

What you will bring

  • BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience (precast concrete experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and engineering software
