We are looking for a qualified Assistant Project Manager that will be supporting our Idaho large commercial Architectural façade projects. This position is in-person located in our Boise, Idaho office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Front Line Communication: Continual and effective communication with customer and project team including regular phone calls, emails, taking and distributing meeting minutes, maintaining and required reports and logs.
  • Schedule: Assist the PM and Scheduler in the development of a complete project schedule; regularly communicate schedule expectations to team members, and consistently follow-up on project milestones and goals.
  • Submittals: Under the direction of the PM, responsible for the collection and submission of complete product submittals per specifications and contractual requirements and exclusions. Solicit collaboration from other departments through formal and informal review channels before submission. Create the final submission package including samples.
  • Request For Information (RFIs): Work closely with Engineering staff, vendors and subs, the Project Manager and our customers to write, resolve, and fully process RFIs in a timely manner.
  • Document Control: Primarily responsible for the maintenance of the architectural conformance documents post project award and turnover from Estimating; assist PM and Estimator in the management of change documents and collaboration with Engineering and outside vendors on the incorporation of approved changes into shop drawings.
  • Procurement: Work with PM and Engineering staff to procure materials to meet project sequencing and delivery requirements; assist PM with placing purchase orders and other commitments.
  • Closeout: submit closeout package including warranties, LEED, as-builds, and other documents needed to complete project. Manage project in Procore through completion.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES MAY INCLUDE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of Autodesk suites, BlueBeam, and other standard industry software
  • Interact positively and collaboratively with internal and external customers
  • Comprehends Architectural and Structural drawings for large commercial buildings
  • Reads and understands construction schedules and able to develop the steps involved in creating and maintaining schedules
  • Familiar with curtain wall, storefront, glass, wall panels, entrances and other building envelope systems and products
  • Intermediate knowledge of building codes related to glazing
