Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a strategic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the execution of large-scale capital projects and support of mill maintenance activities
  • This role oversees a team of Mechanical and Electrical Project Engineers, as well as a Superintendent of Process Control and Automation, with additional reports across engineering and maintenance functions
  • Lead and manage a team of 9 direct reports, including project engineers and technical specialists
  • Oversee planning, budgeting, and execution of large capital projects from concept through commissioning
  • Provide strategic direction and technical oversight to ensure projects meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and corporate teams to align engineering initiatives with business goals
  • Support mill maintenance activities by providing engineering expertise and resources as needed
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development within the engineering team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
