Robot Programmer
Location:ย Local & Travel Opportunities


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Robot Programmer with 3+ years of experience to support automation projects in a machine tool and industrial manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on technical role focused on programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing robotic systems across a variety of robot platforms. The ideal candidate works independently, is comfortable on the shop floor, and can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.


Responsibilities

  • Perform TCP setup, path programming, position adjustments, and touch-ups
  • Troubleshoot and recover robots from faults and alarms
  • Support offline programming and simulation
  • Collaborate with controls and mechanical teams during machine builds and runoffs
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures around automated equipment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on robot programming experience
  • Experience programming with one or multiple of theseย robots:
    • Fanuc
    • KUKA
    • ABB
    • Kawasaki
    • Yaskawa / Motoman
    • Comau
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault recovery skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred

  • Vision system integration experience โ€” Keyence, Cognex, Photoneo, Fanuc 3DV/3DL or comparable
  • Ability to write programs independently from scratch โ€” not just touch-ups and modifications
  • Integration/Commissioning experience
  • Offline programming experience
  • Automotive or machine tool manufacturing background
