Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Programmer with Citizen experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and a passion for precision manufacturing. This role involves creating and optimizing CNC programs to ensure high-quality production of components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver exceptional results.


Responsibilities

  • Develop CNC Swiss programs.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
  • Utilize GibbsCAM programming.
  • Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in manufactured parts.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues during production runs, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, tooling, and setup sheets for reference and training purposes.
  • Provide training and support to machine operators on new programs and setups.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Swiss
  • Strong knowledge of Citizen machines and Miyano turning.
  • Experience with GibbsCAM and Tebis programming
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Proficient in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
  • Solid mathematical skills for calculations related to machining processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in programming tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
