Job description

Davis Tool, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team to create programs and process documentation for Mills and Lathes. We manufacture a wide variety of parts for the Aerospace, and Semiconductor industries. The successful candidate will create high quality CNC programs for a mix of equipment and batch sizes.
A typical day's tasks would include, but is not limited to:
  • Create efficient and accurate CNC programs.
  • Improve efficiency of existing CNC programs.
  • Utilize MRP software in the creation of tool lists for CNC programs that provide maximum metal removal rates for a variety of materials.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on fixture design and contribute to the development of manufacturing plans.
  • Work with machinists to improve existing processes.

Candidates must have the following skills and experience:
  • Experienced as a CNC programmer.
  • Siemens NX experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, on both technical and non-technical matters.
  • Ability to read & understand engineering drawings & common CNC programming languages.
  • Experience running CNC equipment in a production environment.

Monday - Friday workweek
  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position requires on-site work
