Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Programmer Machinist for projects located in or around Birmingham, AL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a CNC Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Program CNC machines
  • Develop programs from drawings rather than CAD files
  • Manufacture custom parts to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
  • Rig, set up, and position materials weighing up to 20,000 lbs. using a jib crane

Requirements:

  • Must have CNC programming and machining experience
  • Must be able to develop programs directly from engineering drawings
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Must be comfortable rigging and setting up materials weighing up to 20,000 lbs. using a crane
