Job description

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between development and operations teams. This role is focused on fostering a collaborative, automation-driven environment that emphasizes continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, infrastructure management, and modern automation techniques. You will work closely with developers, testers, and operations personnel to enhance system performance, streamline deployment processes, and ensure high availability and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and reliability
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions
  • Automate workflows to reduce manual intervention and improve system scalability
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments
  • Ensure high availability, security, and compliance of deployed systems
  • Optimize software delivery processes and improve overall operational maturity
  • Lead DevOps best practices and mentor junior team members where applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Lead
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a DoD DevOps environment
  • Strong proficiency with Helm, Terraform, or equivalent scripting/automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience with Git and modern version control workflows
  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in both on-premise and cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required at contract start

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting the Department of War (DoW) or Department of the Navy (DoN)
  • Familiarity with federal law enforcement (LE) systems or prior experience working in LE environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
