Job description

Job Description:
As part of our expansion to meet increased customer requirements, CTS has an opening for a Catia V5 CNC Programming position.
To be selected as a candidate you must have skills in Catia V5 machining and Catia V5 surface / solids design.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3 axis / 5 axis programs for large CNC machines.
  • Design fixturing for tooling models by creating surfaces / solids / drawings.
  • Publish setup and programming worksheets.
  • Work closely with Engineering and machine operators to develop machining strategies.
  • Respond to shop floor requests for problem solving assistance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Skill Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience with CNC machining or solid / surface creation in Catia V5
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of tooling with composites experience is an asset.


Useful Experience:

  • Comfortable working with Quality Management Systems is an asset


Compensation:
Competitive salary will be determined based on experience.
Skills upgrading with internal or external training programs.
