CMM Programmer, Operator and Inspector

Shifts: Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 6:45am pm to 3:15 pm).

Compensation: $30 to $34, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Program and/or operate CMM for inspection of precision machined components.
  • Complete first-off and in-process inspections independently.
  • Use appropriate manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
  • Generate and prepare CMM reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
  • Read and interpret blue prints.
  • Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience required (10+ years preferred).
  • Capable of using CMM programming and operating software.
  • Familiarity with CMM Manager software preferred.
  • Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in mechanical inspection an asset.
  • Set-up and operation of manual CMM an asset.
  • Previous aerospace experience preferred.
  • Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
