The CNC Programmer plays a crucial role in an in-house team, responsible for creating, updating, and optimizing CNC programs on a daily basis. This role involves working primarily with standard CNC machines to ensure efficient machine setup, tool selection, and quality control, while maintaining strict safety compliance and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Set up CNC machines according to program specifications
  • Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure precision and accuracy
  • Troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming and machine operation
  • Document program changes, machine settings, and processes
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize production
