We look for engineering managers who love working on hard real-world problems and stay hands-on as technical contributors. Our managers lead by example, mentor and develop others while managing our core services. This role requires active technical contributions together with people management.

What You'll Do
  • Architecting and roadmapping our core services.
  • Develop engineers on the team, helping them advance in their careers
  • Empower the engineering team to achieve a high level of technical productivity, reliability and simplicity
  • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the engineering management team
About You
  • You have 2+ years of experience serving in an engineering management role shipping customer-facing products.
  • Proficient in Typescript, and/or Python, Java, Go, C#, or PHP
  • You have managed a fullstack team of client, and backend engineers.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

  • You are able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid choices in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.

Nice to have

  • Experience writing client libraries and SDKs.
  • 4+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
  • Familiarity with professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations.

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $200,000 to $229,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.Â
