Summary:

The Program Coordinator has the ability to articulate a compelling, actionable vision for the Advance Endoscopy Program. He or she facilitates teamwork and unit pride by advocating for an environment that promotes quality patient care standards and implements strategies to ensure patient and physician satisfaction. The Program Coordinator has the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of patient care within his/her respective areas. Areas of responsibility will include nursing practice, program development, physician relations, staff education and positive customer relations. This position will demonstrate sound clinical judgment and decision making skills within the department of oversight.
Education:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program. Associate degree of Nursing.

  • 5 years of RN experience

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

  • GI background would be preferred.

  • Computer literacy and working knowledge of excel, access, power point, word.

Certification/Licensure:

  • Current License to perform nursing in the State of Texas

  • Current BLS certification

  • PALS.
