Job description

This new Strategic Account Manager will champion OnLogic's growth and expansion across the Army and Special Operations Command (SOCOM) portfolios. As the defense industry accelerates its digital reindustrialization, OnLogic has the chance to simultaneously capture both the multi-billion-dollar Industry 4.0 modernization of the Organic Industrial Base and the high-velocity, specialized edge requirements of special operations. Working in close alignment with the Vice President, Public Sector, you will help lead the charge in positioning OnLogic as the premier hardware provider for modern defense infrastructure. You will be responsible for scaling these critical portfolios, establishing new high-value partnerships, and working with a matrixed team of sales professionals to embed our rugged solutions into demanding mission environments-from Industrial IoT to specialized field deployment.
We believe in the power of in-person collaboration and the benefits of a strong workplace community. Therefore, this full-time role requires an onsite presence at our Cary, NC office. We encourage candidates who are able to relocate or comfortably commute to apply.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Identifying potential new customers while managing and developing existing relationships within the Army and SOCOM communities, with an emphasis on the Organic Industrial Base and this ecosystem.
  • Developing unique selling propositions and sales strategies to meet targets and expand the company's global customer base.
  • Partnering with Engineering and Sales teams to identify new product opportunities based on customer feedback and tactical and operational unit requirements.
  • Managing key accounts post-sale, ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and programmatic support.
  • Creating business proposals, leading initial negotiations, and closing deals as part of a collaborative team.
  • Identifying, organizing, and travelling to industry events, trade shows, and operational units to strengthen OnLogic's market presence.

The team you will be joining:
Our sales team is made up of a range of highly-impactful roles, with opportunities to demonstrate great sales leadership and customer service at every stage of the sales cycle! Our sales roles include:
  • Acquisition Team: Strategic Account Managers and Business Development Managers focused on prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals with new customers.
  • Inside Sales Team: Strategic Account Managers and Technical Sales maintain our inbound lead engine as a cornerstone of sustained growth through lead qualification, customer retention, and funnel management.
  • Enterprise Accounts Team: Strategic Account Managers manage and grow key strategic accounts with complex solution selling and executive relationship management.
  • Sales Operations: Process driven leaders who optimize our workflows and data driven approach in a rapidly scaling organization.
  • Strategic Partner/OEM Team: A dedicated group of Account Managers that manage our top tier go-to-market partners, including co-sell and sell through motions.
