Job description

This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lakewood, Colorado.

AN INCENTIVE MAY BE AVAILABLE FOR HIGHLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES AT MANAGEMENT DISCRETION. A SERVICE AGREEMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.
Qualifications:EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for the Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series, GS-0301

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Directing all technical, scientific, and programmatic operations associated with energy and mineral resource development on Indian trust and restricted lands; managing and having the responsibility for the day-to-day operation and administration of a division or program office, and oversight responsibility in the application and implementation of overall policies and programs by agency field offices; and, recommend revisions for multi-disciplinary technical workforce or like-organization or BIA policies, programs, procedures and regulations.

Merit Promotion candidates must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the announcement closing date.
