Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Paid Digital Marketing Intern - La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip, Inc.'s Marketing department is seeking an intern who will assist with monitoring and maintaining Kwik Trip's paid media campaign development and activation across all social and programmatic channels.
Primary job responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Google Ads, and StackAdapt.
  • Utilize ad management tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads) to create campaigns, implement optimizations, generate reports, and ensure campaign quality.
  • Collaborate with content creation teams to develop creative content and copy for paid media campaigns and advertisements.
  • Support the management of Kwik Careers' paid media campaign implementation and reporting.
  • Regularly monitor campaign performance and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Paid Media Manager.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify industry trends to inform the company's digital strategy.
  • Participate in various Marketing Department projects, including promotions, signage, and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in social media or digital marketing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and their alignment with paid media strategies.
  • Knowledge of essential digital advertising metrics (e.g., reach, impressions, conversions).
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for report and presentation development.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills for quick and accurate data analysis.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively to complete tasks and projects.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences, including upper management.
  • Ability to interpret complex data to evaluate campaign performance, make decisions, and provide recommendations.

Work Schedule: This is a paid, 9-month internship. Hours may vary based on workload. Candidates must be available for up to 20 hours per week during school semesters and up to 40 hours during school breaks. We offer flexibility with school scheduling.
