Job description

About The Role:

As a Director, Programmatic Retail Media Strategy, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing programmatic display campaigns, leveraging data to drive performance for leading global brands. In addition, you will lead and mentor a team of DSP specialists ensuring consistent campaign performance.

What You Will Do:
  • Oversee critical client business leveraging programmatic advertising as their primary sales vehicle.
  • Manage a team to develop, optimize, and oversee programmatic display campaigns on display platforms including Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect (DSS) and The Trade Desk (DSP).
  • Own relationships with the business development team, leading display advertising efforts, including RFP responses, upselling, and managing contract renewals.
  • Demonstrate mastery of P&L dynamics, overseeing revenue projections, ensuring team profitability, and promptly communicating any risks to leadership.
  • Guide the development of strategic media plans with budget and key performance indicator (KPI) recommendations, emphasizing the integration of retail media with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Cultivate and lead relationships with key stakeholders at consumer brands across all levels and departments.
  • Direct a team to effectively manage client calls, steer project discussions, analyze business trends, and plan future initiatives in display advertising and programmatic, utilizing Stackline's data for insightful media applications.
  • Coach a team to develop impactful reports that analyze media performance, incorporating insights on market share trends and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and implement new processes and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the retail media team.
  • Develop expertise in Stackline's software products, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for clients.

Who We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong demonstrated expertise in Amazon and Walmart retail media offerings.
  • 10+ years of digital advertising experience, with a focus on 6+ years in display advertising and programmatic.
  • Extensive experience using data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel and creating compelling presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • 6+ years of client-facing experience.
  • 4+ years of management experience.
  • 2+ years of successful P&L management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of audience development, creative, and targeting strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, demonstrated at the C-Suite level with Fortune 500 companies
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Understanding of other retail media ecosystems, such as Target, Instacart, Criteo, etc.
  • SQL experience.
  • Experience in a startup, retail, digital advertising agency, or e-commerce environment.

The pay range for an Associate Directorย is $140,000 - $160,000 and the range forย Director is $160,000 - $190,000 per year.
