Reporting to the Director, Monetization & Sponsorship Operations, this role will be responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, delivery monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and operational support across both direct-sold and programmatic advertising. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Manage sponsorship campaigns across audio, display, newsletter, social media, and emerging platforms.

  • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and inventory utilization to ensure contractual obligations are met, proactively identifying and resolving delivery issues in coordination with internal teams, vendors, and advertising partners.

  • Support the execution and monitoring of programmatic campaigns, PMP deals, and marketplace activity.

  • Maintain advertising systems, workflows, and operational documentation while supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.

  • Assist with the implementation of new advertising products, sponsorship opportunities, and monetization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support campaign execution across advertising technology platforms and distribution channels.

  • Serve as a subject matter resource for sellers, clients, and internal stakeholders on NYPR's advertising technology capabilities, measurement solutions, campaign reporting, and implementation requirements.

  • Stay informed on advertising industry standards, measurement practices, privacy considerations, and emerging technologies to support stakeholder education, client conversations, and operational decision-making.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, digital media, or related fields.

  • Experience working with ad servers, trafficking platforms, podcast advertising platforms, social media advertising platforms, or other advertising technology systems.

  • Strong understanding of campaign delivery, pacing, reporting, troubleshooting, and digital advertising workflows.

  • Experience with podcast advertising platforms, including Adswizz, and/or Google Ad Manager or similar ad-serving platforms.

  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts, PMP deals, third-party tracking, ad tags, digital measurement tools, and attribution methodologies.

  • Experience supporting paid social campaigns or social media advertising operations.

  • Comfort working within ad tech platforms and learning new technologies as needed.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience working within digital publishing, media, podcasting, or public media environments preferred.
