Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider,ย is seekingย to hireย an exceptionalย Senior/Principalย Design Verification Engineerย to joinย ourย Memory Controller IPย teamย inย Hillsboro, Oregon.ย ย The successful candidate will participate in pre-silicon RTL Verification activities related to Memory Controller SoftIP development, on leading-edgeย  DDR, HBM, andย GDDR DRAMย controller technologies.ย ย ย  This is aย Full Timeย position,ย ย reportingย toย theย local onsite manager of the Memory Controller IP Verificationย teamย .ย ย 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracingย a hybrid approach forย the majorityย of ourย office-basedย roles.ย We encourage employees toย spend an average of at leastย three days per weekย working onsiteย whileย also allowing forย twoย daysย of remote work.ย ย 

Responsibilities
  • Testbench and test sequence development for verification of new controller technologies and featuresย 
  • Functional coverage planning, coverage item coding, and test suite augmentation to achieve Functional Coverageย 
  • Regression test development, monitoring, debug/triage, and correction to test environment, sequences, debug of controller RTL designย 
  • Development & support of Verification environment scripting and capabilitiesย 
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree or above in EE/CS, minimumย 10ย years experience with HDL logic Design-Verificationย 
  • System Verilog testbench, Verilog/System Verilog logic design/RTL fluency a mustย 
  • Pre-existing Experience / familiarity with DDR DRAM technology a strongย preferenceย 
  • Working experience with Python and TCL scripting languages preferredย
