An Electrical Maintenance Controls Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical control systems and equipment. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and systems, minimizing downtime, and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other automated equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in control systems, using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and software diagnostics.
  • Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new control systems and equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system performance and reliability, and implement solutions.
