As Anduril scales its manufacturing footprint to meet the demands of building hyperscale defense systems, our facilities and the systems that run them are mission-critical. We're looking for a Facilities Engineer to ensure our manufacturing environments operate at peak performance - keeping our production lines, labs, and people running without interruption. In this role, you'll own the design, programming, and reliability of the Building Automation Systems that control everything from environmental conditions to building infrastructure across our advanced manufacturing facilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Automation Systems, including hardware, servers, software, and networks
- Diagnose and resolve environmental control issues - temperature, humidity, pressure, airflow, noise, and indoor air quality - and implement long-term solutions
- Configure, program, calibrate, and test controllers and sensors for integration into BAS networks
- Design and program setpoints and control logic across temperature, humidity, pressure, scheduling, and equipment state
- Investigate failures, determine root causes, and develop corrective actions and workarounds
- Plan and specify system and equipment improvements as well as preventative maintenance programs
- Lead special projects, support commissioning of new assets, and identify opportunities for new technology and system integrations
- Ensure safety, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory compliance across all systems
- Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into design options, documentation, estimates, and contract scopes
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- 5+ years of experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
- 5+ years of experience in a facilities engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 5+ years of experience with computerized Building Automation Systems (e.g., Trane, Honeywell, Johnson Controls Metasys)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics Engineering
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with PLC (programmable logic control) hardware
- 5+ years of experience with equipment reliability or machine troubleshooting
- 5+ years of experience supporting building lighting controls
- 5+ years of experience supporting building environmental controls
- 5+ years of experience modifying computer programs
