Job description

GST, LLC. is seeking a Scholarship Program Support Specialist will serve as the on-site team lead for the F. Hollings Undergraduate Ernest Scholarship Program. This person will support the student scholarship application, administrative review, and selection processes.   

**This position is contingent upon contract being awarded**

Primary Duties:

• Works with NOAA Security Office to issue badges for scholars.
• Drafts and prepares correspondence for the Scholarships Program Managers' signature.
• Provides guidance support for junior contractor staff on the team.
• Maintains time and attendance and leave calendar for scholarship support contractors
• Reviews scholarship support contractor's reports for accuracy
• Maintains internship and mentor spreadsheets for an estimated 125-150 scholars
• Assists Program Managers where needed and fills in for Program Managers during vacation times, travel etc.
• Conducts other education and outreach activities in support of the education and scholarship programs, as needed.
• Submits content for Office of Education social media and web presence.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, education, or similar field

• 6-8 years of experience

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
