Position Summary:

WORC is seeking a dedicated Program Support Specialist to assist with the delivery and implementation of its expanding Savings Programs, including the Emergency Savings Program, Childrenโ€™s Savings Program in collaboration with Keystone Scholars, and the Family Savings Program supporting education, tuition, and first-time homebuyers. This role is partially funded through WORCโ€™s Vanguard Grant and supports the successful execution of grant-related activities, compliance, and reporting. The position is part-time (15โ€“20 hours per week) and based in our Philadelphia office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and programmatic support to the Family Savings Account, Emergency Savings Account, and Childrenโ€™s Savings Account Manager.

Assist in the coordination and delivery of the Emergency Savings Program, Childrenโ€™s Savings Program (Keystone Scholars), and Family Savings Program for education and homeownership-related savings.

Help implement key deliverables funded by the Vanguard grant, including:


Supporting program matching and benefit enrollment processes.


Maintaining accurate, grant-compliant records for child, emergency, retirement, and homeownership savings efforts.


Tracking client milestones and outcomes aligned with grant goals.


Assisting with verbal and written reporting deadlines and compiling information for quarterly, annual, and final reports.


Conduct client outreach, schedule follow-ups, and monitor engagement and participation levels across savings programs.


Assist with event coordination and savings program workshops and conferences, including preparation, registration, and post-event data tracking.


Assist in maintaining client records, input accurate data into client management systems, and organizing files to ensure grant audit readiness.


Support promotional and communication efforts for savings programs, including distributing materials, maintaining updated flyers, and contributing to digital outreach.


Participate in program evaluations, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to feedback for external funders when needed.


Attend team meetings and assist with general duties related to savings program success.


Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure the effectiveness of the savings portfolio and compliance with funding agreements.

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

1+ year of experience in a professional work environment, preferably in a non-profit organization.

College degree in business, or related field, or equivalent experience.


Competency in Microsoft Office applications and working experience with client management database is desired.


Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.


Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.


Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Exhibit genuine interest in community development, economics, and/or microfinance.
