Job description

Sodexo is hiring a Conference Services Manager for a growing life sciences account in Boston, MA, Monday-Friday, with career advancement on a brand-new team. You'll run all events and conferences, helping clients plan and set up seamless experiences.

You'll manage catering, AV, BEOs, and room bookings using CaterTrax or similar systems, handling events up to 1,000 guests. Comfort working in a fast-paced events and catering environment is a must, along with managing multiple priorities and ambiguity.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Pay Range: $67405 - $98000
