Hill International is seeking a Project Manager in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities
  • Support project work planning activities, including defining trainer scope and associated functional requirements, cost estimating, schedule and budget development, and risk identification
  • Support solicitation, placement, and subsequent oversight and follow of subtier supplier contracts
  • Monitor project progress and performance against plans and initiating corrective actions to address variances as necessary
  • Execute schedule and assigned budget resources
  • Interface with project stakeholders, internal and external to the Program
  • Identify and implement solutions to resolve challenges and minimize project impacts
  • Ensure project results meet scope, schedule, cost, and technical quality requirements
  • Responsible for various phases of complex technical projects, from initial planning and scoping to installation and delivery

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Periodic travel to other NNPP and subtier supplier sites
  • Program or project management experience within a technical business
  • Experience managing complex technical projects
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
  • Experience with new project startup, technical writing, cost estimating, and subtier supplier oversight
  • Experience working with engineers to define project scope and schedules
  • Experience defining, implementing, and managing project infrastructure (integrated plans, resource management, schedule management, risk management, change control, and status reporting)
  • Ability to team and solve complex problems across organizations
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments for all aspects of work with minimal direction from management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with management and interfacing organizations
  • Experience with Primavera P6
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
