Job Title: Project / Program Manager II
Job Description
This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Manager with 2-3+ years of experience to support cross-functional product development teams delivering Edge-based AI features for consumer devices, including EFDs and Fire TV. You will partner closely with Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and leadership to coordinate projects across the full product lifecycle, from internal dogfooding and alpha/beta testing through end-customer deployment. You will manage schedules and milestones, track project health, and ensure teams deliver on time while proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and escalating when needed. This position provides exposure to machine learning and Edge-based AI initiatives within a highly collaborative environment, with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end project activities across engineering, Technical Program Management, and leadership teams to support Edge-based AI features for consumer devices.
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, timelines, and dependencies throughout the entire product lifecycle, including entry and exit criteria for each phase.
  • Track overall project health by monitoring schedule deviations, progress against milestones, and key deliverables, and proactively identify risks or blockers.
  • Support internal device testing phases, including internal dogfooding (such as Kanto OSI), alpha testing, beta testing, and preparation for end-customer deployment.
  • Facilitate daily cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear communication of priorities, action items, and next steps across all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, summarizing progress, risks, and upcoming milestones, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed on time by coordinating activities across multiple teams and aligning on dependencies and intersection points.
  • Escalate issues promptly when appropriate, driving timely resolution and ensuring projects remain on track for launch.
  • Use Microsoft Project or similar tools to create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, and resource allocations.
  • Leverage collaboration and project tracking tools such as SharePoint and AI tools (including QUICK) to organize documentation, track progress, and support team communication.
  • Work independently to identify gaps, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions, while staying on top of multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as a proactive, highly communicative point of contact for cross-functional partners, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3+ years of experience supporting cross-functional product development teams in roles such as Project Coordinator, Program Coordinator, or Project Manager.
  • Experience supporting the product development lifecycle, including understanding key milestones, intersection points, and project dependencies.
  • Experience creating and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
  • Experience using collaboration and project tracking tools such as SharePoint.
  • Ability to comprehend and manage various milestones and deliverables, including entry and exit criteria across the product lifecycle.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • PMP certification is not required but is helpful.
  • Experience supporting consumer electronics or hardware product launches.
  • Familiarity with consumer devices such as Fire TV or Echo products.
  • Exposure to projects supporting Edge-based AI features and machine learning initiatives.
  • Experience working with AI tools, including QUICK and other AI-based productivity tools.
  • Ability to be highly communicative, sharing timely updates and clarifications with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to escalate when progress is blocked or risks emerge.

Work Environment
The role operates in a highly cross-collaborative environment, working closely with engineering, Technical Program Management, and leadership teams to deliver Edge-based AI features for consumer devices. You will work standard Monday through Friday hours, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in a fast-paced setting where multiple projects run in parallel. The work involves regular use of project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and AI tools such as QUICK, as well as participation in daily cross-functional meetings and ongoing coordination across distributed teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $57.00/hr.
