  • Establish and maintain active networking relationships with agencies and organizations with similar missions and/or clientele.
  • Prepare grant applications and reports required to comply with the requirements of the medical-legal partnerships’ funding sources.
  • Identify systemic issues affecting MLP clients and work to address those issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctorate degree and license to practice law in Indiana, or able to become licensed soon after acceptance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of legal experience in the State of Indiana post-bar admission at the time of hire preferred, preferably in a medical-legal partnership or an LSC-funded legal services program setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with diverse populations.
COMPENSATION: Starting salary is $65,401, with a range up to a maximum of $96,743, depending on experience. ILS offers an excellent fringe benefit package including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), disability insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and a flex benefit plan.
