Airswift is partnering with a leading EPC/EPCM and construction organization to identify experienced Project Directors for large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical construction projects across North America.

This position is responsible for overall project execution and commercial performance, providing leadership across project planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, safety, client management, and financial performance. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record leading highly technical construction projects, managing large project teams, and driving successful project outcomes in fast-paced, complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level leadership for major Data Center and Mission Critical construction projects.
  • Maintain full accountability for project scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project managers, project engineers, construction teams, and subcontractors.
  • Drive commercial performance, forecasting, risk management, and project profitability.
  • Lead client relationships and serve as the primary executive point of contact.
  • Support procurement strategy, project controls, commissioning, and turnover activities.
  • Develop and mentor project teams while fostering a strong safety and execution culture.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of construction, EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, or General Contracting experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Data Center or Mission Critical construction projects.
  • Experience managing projects exceeding $200M in value.
  • Strong background in project controls, scheduling, procurement, estimating, contracts, and financial management.
  • Experience managing project P&L, client relationships, risk, and major subcontractor scopes.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

What Makes This Opportunity Interesting

  • Opportunity to lead some of the largest and most complex mission-critical construction projects in North America.
  • Executive-level visibility and client engagement.
  • Significant autonomy and commercial ownership.
  • Exposure to hyperscale and next-generation technology infrastructure programs.
  • Long-term growth opportunities within a globally recognized project delivery organization.

If this aligns with your background, I'd be happy to discuss the opportunity confidentially.
