Job description

To support consistently excellent and highquality delivery of projects for our Power, Generation and Transmission (PG&T) clients, Terracon has established a dedicated National Account Program/Project Management Office (PMO) to support Geotechnical Services, Environmental and Materials Services project delivery. This program provides a structured approach to project delivery by engaging local, regional, and national Terracon professionals with defined roles, standardized deliverables, and clear communication expectations. The intent of this program is to enhance project delivery, consistency, improve coordination of Terracon resources (people and equipment), maintain compliance with Terracon safety and quality standards, improve communication between Terracon project teams and our clients, and deliver positive and consistently excellent client experience across all projects.
Terracon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as a key contributor to the Quality Project & Delivery (QP&D) team supporting the National Account Program/PMO and project delivery needs of our PG&T clients.

We provide geotechnical services nationwide for a wide range of projects, drawing on six decades of historical geotechnical data, a fleet of more than 200 drill rigs, 140 accredited laboratories, and thousands of employees to quickly organize or capture site data wherever projects are located.From AI-supported solutions and predictive technologies to geophysics and traditional exploration, we deliver precision, value-added subsurface information and engineering and scientific expertise to solving our clients' challenges and achieve their goals for project sustainability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' related experience
  • Professional registration (PE, PG, or equivalent) preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history

General Responsibilities
Manages the delivery of medium to large, environmental, geotechnical, and materials engineering projects supporting Power Generation & Transmission (PG&T) renewable energy development. Responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and risk management, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary projects through the project lifecycle (initiation through closeout)
  • Partner with clients, National Account Managers, local, regional, and national Terracon professionals, and other stakeholders to define scope, budget, schedule, and other project deliverables
  • Manage project performance, including schedule and cost management, resource planning, and issue resolution
  • Champion safety, quality, and risk management in accordance with corporate policies and client requirements
  • Mentor and support local, regional, and national professionals, including project managers and technical staff
