Senior Lead, Product Program Manager
Location: US, Remote
The lead of program management is a position focused on strategic software development program management with defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products and services for PSG-PAICE authoring products. This role oversees the program management for all software products across the PAICE business, ensuring our empowered product model is consistently identifying, designing, and delivering great user experiences that drive the business. This role involves strategic collaboration xPearson (ALL BUs) with cross-functional teams in go-to-market, customer service, content and operations to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution all the way to the user. This is a leadership role with a global team of 10+ to start.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Lead and manage all software product programs and initiatives, ensuring they are scoped, designed, and delivered
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of strategic product roadmaps, initiatives and plans. Work closely with senior leadership to develop and align programs with organizational goals
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain the product roadmap with product, design and engineering for Higher Education products.
  • Data Product: Develop, test, train, and deploy the data products to deliver the product experience including ML, Domain graph, and LLM approaches.
  • Data Excellence: Define, design, and deliver the end-to-end data approach to ensure embedded data traceability, experimentation, and analysis to support the product and user experience
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority, ensuring strategic alignment of outcomes. Notably this is a platform role and will require strong xfunctional relationship development cross sr stakeholders in all Pearson BUs as Authoring is a critical capability for most of Pearson
  • Operational Improvements: Monitor, identify and implement product and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness of PSG overall

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Program Management: Proven experience in software program management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software programs and initiatives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align programs with organizational goals.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and alignment across the organization with high influence management and domain understanding pan Pearson for authoring and content creation
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data management, data analytics, and data governance principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Executive Support: Experience providing strategic support to senior leadership, including preparing reports and presentations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $150,000 - $200,000.
