Job description

Position Overview
  • Department: General Finance
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Work Location: Daniel Building

What You Will Do

Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information.

  • Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources. Prepares reports based on findings, including health care costs, provider contracts, debt capacity, revenue and profitablility.
  • Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with budget review for compliance and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.
  • Assists with all accounting, financial reporting, portfolio reporting and valuation activities.
  • Reviews financial statements for compliance with GAAP and other internal policies.
  • Loads final budget spreads into applicable systems and performing required reconciliations.

  • Accountant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
