We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program and Operations Analyst to support a U.S. Army Project Office responsible for the development, acquisition, fielding, and sustainment of advanced Air and Missile Defense (AMD) capabilities. This position is ideally suited for a senior acquisition professional with extensive experience leading complex defense acquisition programs, supporting executive-level decision making, and coordinating across Army, Joint, and Department of Defense stakeholders.

In this role, you will work directly with the Program Operations Director and Project Office leadership to provide acquisition oversight, program operations support, strategic planning, milestone preparation, executive decision support, and coordination with Headquarters Department of the Army stakeholders, including the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC).

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Defense Acquisition, program and portfolio management, acquisition strategy development, milestone decision support, resource management, and cross-functional leadership. Experience supporting Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Project Managers (PMs), Product Managers (PdMs), and senior Army leadership is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior program and operations support for Army Air and Missile Defense acquisition and modernization programs.
  • Coordinate acquisition planning, program execution, and milestone preparation in accordance with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF).
  • Develop Executive-level Information Papers, White Papers, Decision Briefs, Fact Sheets, Executive Summaries, and Congressional/OSD briefing materials supporting Project Office initiatives.
  • Prepare leadership for milestone reviews, program management reviews (PMRs), configuration boards, and senior decision forums.
  • Analyze program cost, schedule, performance, funding, and risk data; develop recommendations for Project Office leadership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities among engineering, logistics, contracting, test, cybersecurity, finance, and operational stakeholders.
  • Support development and maintenance of acquisition documentation, program strategies, integrated master schedules, and executive reporting products.
  • Facilitate and document leadership-directed meetings, action items, and stakeholder engagements involving Army, Joint, and DoD organizations.
  • Interface with the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (AIAMD) Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC) and other Headquarters Department of the Army stakeholders.
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies supporting successful execution of modernization and fielding efforts.
  • Provide strategic planning and operational synchronization support to the Project Manager and senior leadership.

Required

  • BS or BA degree
  • 10+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs within the Defense Acquisition System.
  • Experience supporting milestone documentation, acquisition strategies, and executive decision support.
  • Strong working knowledge of program management principles including cost, schedule, performance, and risk management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Must have an in-scope Secret Security clearance.
