Job description

Office Assistant - Fink's Jewelers (Richmond, VA)

Position: Full-Time Office Assistant

Location: New flagship store at N. Gayton Road & W. Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia

Pay: $20-$22 per hour, plus participation in the office staff repair commission program

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales activities using the POS system
    • Process sales transactions
    • Handle layaways and special orders
  • Maintain customer records, special order files, and layaway files
  • Processing incoming and outgoing inventory transfers
  • Prepare packages and documentation for shipping and mail
  • Manage jewelry repair intake and follow-up
    • Communicate repair estimates
    • Track completion and shipping dates
    • Notify customers when repairs are complete
  • Assist customers in person and by phone
  • Research transactions using the company's ERP software
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
