Program Manager
The Program Manager
Financial Controls - assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets
Schedule Controls - that assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements
Contractual Submittals - that assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements
Customer Relations - Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers
Other important elements for success are a clear understanding of business, Accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, Contracts, Sales techniques and Manufacturing procedures.
A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required
8+ years of experience managing complex Programs, with demonstrated financial skills and excellent communications techniques are a must. BSME is required, preferred - Advanced degree (MBA or MS) and related Aerospace experience preferable but not required.
