Job description

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Operational Support Facilities Division (OSF), Border Patrol & Air and Marine (BPAM) Program Management Office (PMO) located in the following locations:
  • Alisio Viejo, CA
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Washinton, DC
  • Euless, TX
Qualifications:Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
  • Setting, directing, and establishing policies for programs and operations, including developing and implementing new policies and procedures to address emerging operational needs and strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with agency and departmental requirements.
  • Overseeing the execution of services, ensuring proper allocation, funding, and strategic placement of resources to achieve mission objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Developing, negotiating, and validating budget requirements, as well as ensuring manpower and resource needs are met across an organization.
  • Advising senior and executive leadership on relevant matters, including plans, initiatives, issues, future developments, and policies impacting program outcomes.
  • Ensuring programs and processes are governed by internal controls and that appropriate precautions are taken to prevent fraud, waste, and misuse of resources in accordance with regulations.
