Job description

Position Title: Engineering Program Analyst
Location: Lexington Park, MD
Clearance: Active Top Secret (Required)
Salary Range: $115000 - $150000] About the Role:
As an Engineering Program Analyst at Fusion 2, Inc., you will provide critical technical and programmatic support to the Program Manager, Functional Leads, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads for a major Department of War Weapons Acquisition Program. This role requires close collaboration with systems engineers and program leadership to capture and track technical issues, develop POA&Ms, and coordinate with Master Planners to ensure alignment with the Program Integrated Master Schedule. You will play a key role in risk identification, tracking, and reporting while supporting program documentation, decision‑making, and communication across stakeholders. What You'll Do:
• Program Tracking & Integration: Assist in capturing technical plans of action and milestones and coordinate their integration into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
• Risk Management: Support the Program Risk Manager in identifying, documenting, and tracking program risks and mitigation plans in accordance with DoDI 5000.02, SECNAVINST 5000.2, NAVAIRINST 5000.21, and the Program Risk Management Plan.
• Technical Data Management: Use databases and MS Office tools to manage, maintain, and distribute technical and programmatic data for Program Managers, IPTs, Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers.
• Analysis & Recommendations: Analyze program information and provide recommendations with supporting rationale.
• Product Development: Use government‑furnished data to develop briefings, reports, presentations, illustrations, and other program artifacts. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Update the Program Requirements Traceability and Verification Matrix.
• Track weapon builds using the manufacturer’s production progress matrix.
• Support classified Test Verification Matrix tracking with requirements owners.
• Support risk management tracking and ensure consistency with program schedules.
• Track weapon subsystem development progress.
• Track and update test asset configuration matrices.
• Prepare executive‑level briefing materials.
• Maintain configuration control of program documentation.
• Maintain the program’s archival file structure.
• Track Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliveries and acceptance.
• Maintain and facilitate Program Action Item tracking. Required Qualifications:
• Five years of experience performing Program Analyst functions in support of Systems Engineering efforts for Naval Aviation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a technical field.
• Two years of recent and relevant experience with Aviation Program Planning in one or more areas: complex budget processes, system acquisition, interdepartmental procurement requests, work requests, requisitions, CDRLs, or ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Active Top Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
• Seven years of experience supporting NAVAIR acquisition or science and technology programs.
• Experience with the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.
