Help Build Partnerships That Advance Public Procurement

The Procurement Professionals Alliance (PPA) is seeking a highly organized, relationship-focused professional to lead the day-to-day execution of our sponsorship program.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving revenue, and ensuring sponsors receive an exceptional experience. You'll partner with internal teams and external organizations to identify sponsorship opportunities, cultivate new relationships, manage sponsor communications, and deliver high-quality sponsorship experiences before, during, and after PPA events.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and cultivate prospective sponsors for PPA conferences, events, and initiatives.
  • Conduct sponsorship outreach, follow-up, and relationship management to secure new sponsorship commitments.
  • Manage the sponsorship sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and sponsor communications using HubSpot CRM.
  • Develop sponsorship proposals, presentations, and customized partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate sponsor onboarding and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sponsors.
  • Track sponsorship deliverables, timelines, agreements, invoicing, and fulfillment to ensure every commitment is delivered.
  • Coordinate sponsor activations before, during, and after events.
  • Develop post-event sponsorship reports and use engagement data to identify opportunities for future growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to support successful conferences, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support onsite event operations as needed.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3-4 years of experience in sponsorships, business development, fundraising, sales, marketing, or partnership management.
  • Demonstrated success generating revenue through sponsorship sales, fundraising, or business development.
  • Experience developing sponsorship proposals, presentations, or sales materials.
  • Experience managing customer or prospect pipelines using a CRM (HubSpot preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with associations or nonprofit organizations is a plus.

Travel

This position includes occasional travel to support conferences, meetings, and sponsor engagement opportunities throughout the year.
